Our Ministries

                              Our children are the future!

Children's Ministry director:

Jessica Giessen

Our children are not just the church of the future: they are the church of the present! We understand and welcome the messes, squirming, and noises that come from our littlest disciples. We do offer a nursery for babies and toddlers as well as a church program for children, ages four - twelve years, during the sermon.

Every summer (usually in August) we have our Vacation Bible School, five days in a row. All children -not only from our church- are invited! Keep an eye on this website to get more information and to download the application form.

   Puppet Ministry

It's not only great fun to watch the adventures of the Puppets, provided by Dorothy Naithani, but also a blessing. And not only for the little ones...

Music Ministry director: Cathy Luijkx

The Music Ministry exists to serve God through our musical talents by providing praise and worship. Our aim is to encourage and lead the congregation in songs and worship, to focus on the presence of the Lord.

Women’s Ministry director: Christine Mallie

The Women’s Ministry at EBC is a welcoming group of Christian women, coming together to share
our concerns, questions and thoughts, on various subjects, as well as our praises!

We have all been blessed with talents and skills. Our meetings are a warm and safe place where we
encourage each other to develop and use these talents and skills, in building up the church and being
helpers in our community.

We meet monthly, the second Saturday of the month, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, usually at the church.
We open with prayer and a devotional, followed by our main program and we close off with visiting
and sharing.

The Women’s Ministry also sponsors a monthly prayer meeting, the first Wednesday of the month,
via Skype. We pray for our church, our families, whomever or whatever we have on our prayer lists.

The meeting starts off with a song of worshipping our Lord, then we take turns praying.

Aside from these monthly activities, we organize special events such as baby or wedding shower’s,
workshops, prayer walks, movie nights and women’s retreats, as well as outreach programs in
collaboration with other ministries.

Does this sound like the group for you? Please contact Pastor David, one of our deacons or Christine
Mallie for more information.

 Men's Ministry
Men's Ministry.jpeg
Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, started discipling a group of men from different backgrounds, social levels, intellectual capacities, etc. His main mission was the cross where He took our place to suffer the punishment for our sins. But his mission was also to start His church. He poured himself into these 12 men. And 11 of them did the same with other disciples. Disciples making disciples. And that chain reaches us today.

The purpose of our men’s ministry is to disciple men so they can disciple others. As Christians we all long to be more Christlike. But what does that mean in a practical way? What does that mean from Monday to Sunday? How do we spend our time, money and energy?

In our meetings we talk about marriage, about leading in our homes, submission, what it means to love our wives as Christ loved the church and many more important subjects. We start with the Scriptures and then discuss what they mean for us in our daily lives as men, husbands, fathers, employees and friends. Our aim is to show our gratitude by glorifying God by our way of living.

We meet once a month on a Saturday morning from 10.00 to 12.00 in church and have also online meetings for those that can’t attend the live meetings.

Interested or have questions? Please send a mail to the pastor or one of our deacons with your contact details and we will send you more information.
